The truth is I’m just a small-town girl, with roots that were cultivated in the Mississippi Delta. Those roots have stretched across the entire southern United States and have even scattered seeds in several countries abroad. I am a girl with a heart that is compelled with compassion for others and for the world around me.
I am inspired by the mundane things of life-the ordinary that has potential to become extraordinary. I see things as they will be, and not as they are. I enjoy entering into each moment with my eyes wide open, and a heart longing to embrace that moment. I do not take for granted the little things in life, for it is the little things that will make a grand impact in the lives of others.
I believe that within every acorn lives an oak tree, and if cultivated and germinated appropriately that acorn will evolve into a mighty oak tree with branches that stretch far and wide creating a canopy for all who choose to slow down and enjoy its branches. Every aspect of an oak tree is handcrafted and developed over time offering strength, purpose, grace, confident assurance, commitment, dedication, and loyalty. My humble beginnings instilled within my spirit a drive and a will that has cultivated a whatever it takes mindset, at all cost for things that have character building values.
